Dr. Mirzaei’s research is focused on finding the target of novel and FDA approved compounds using a combination of proteomics, computational biology and biochemistry. Many FDA approved drugs are currently in use without clear understanding of their mechanism of action. On the other hand there are quite a few well-characterized natural products with unknown targets. Dr. Mirzaei uses systems biology to understand the drug’s mechanism of action by identifying the target of the drugs and their cellular and organismal phenotypes.

Oleg N Tikhodeyev is the author of the original approach for resolving multiple ambiguities and contradictions in current genetic concepts. He has shown that the key source of such ambiguities and contradictions is the erroneous belief that the same genetic term (for example, mutation) is able to comprise both specific phenomenology and the underlying mechanisms (Tikhodeyev, 2015). This belief became widely accepted after 1952, when the hereditary role of DNA had been demonstrated. In modern genetic concepts, the terms describing molecular mechanisms should be clearly distinguished from those describing phenomenology because there is no strict correlation between phenomenology and molecular mechanisms (Tikhodeyev, 2016).

Robert M Brosh has his expertise in DNA Repair and Genome Stability Maintenance. He leads a Research group at the National Institute on Aging, NIH that is focused on characterizing the roles of clinically relevant human DNA helicases in cellular nucleic acid metabolism. This work has yielded insights into how DNA repair helicases promote phenotypes consistent with healthy aging and cancer resistance.

Alfredo Berzal-Herranz has completed his PhD at the age of 25 years from Madrid Autónoma University and postdoctoral studies from Uppsala University Biomedical Center, Sweden and Vermont University School of Medicine, US. Since 1993 he leads his own research group at the Institute of Parasitology and Biomedicine (IPBLN; Granada, Spain) belonging to CSIC. Since 2005 to 2014 he was the director of IPBLN a premier biomedical research Institute in Spain. He has published more than 80 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of 20 repute journals. He coordinated the Spanish RNA Network.

Dr. Ricardo Bonfim Silva is Bachelor in Biological Science with emphasis in Genetics by the State University Southwest Bahia-Brazil, Master and Ph.D. in Genetics by the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP-Brazil) and concluded a Ph.D. research internship at Indiana University School of Medicine of the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis-USA. Currently he is Posdoctoral fellow at Molecular Biology Laboratory at FMRP-USP and conducts research in the Molecular Neuro-oncology area, specifically in Medulloblastoma. He has experience in Tumor Microenvironment, Long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs), Mesenquimal Stem cells, Human and Medical Genetics, and Molecular and Cell Biology ,and he is reviewer of some Research Journals and has publications in those areas.

Dr. Xiaojiang S. Chen is a professor of Molecular and Computational Biology/Norris Cancer Center, and the director of Center of Nanobiophysics and Structural Biology at the University of Southern California (USC) at Los Angeles. Dr. Chen uses Structural and biochemical approaches to study DNA replication, genomic mutations and DNA repair, and addresses important questions in genomic stability, cancer biology and immunology. Dr. Chen’s accolades include the HHMI young faculty start-up award, the Qian Ren award, elected of AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science).

Dr. Dev Mani Pandey is working as Associate Professor at the Department of Bio-Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. He has completed his Ph. D. (Plant Physiology) from Chaudhary Charan Singh, Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India. He was Post-Doctoral Fellow in South Korea and worked in the areas of Plant Molecular Biology and Functional Genomics. He served as Consultant to Plant Breeding, Genetics and Biotechnology, IRRI, Los Banos, Philippines. He is also a recipient of Young Scientist Award. He has published many research papers in reputed journals. He has been Principal Investigator of Sponsored project as well as Guide of M. Sc., M. Tech. and Ph. D. Scholars.
